Tech updates at a glance

Shorter bridle set-up, inspired by the PowerPack
New Bow Bar design for high levels of control
New compact shape reduces chance of contact with the water
Refined profile and improved canopy tension – including a diagonal rib support structure which has further improved upwind performance and low end power

• ALL NEW SHAPE:

  CANOPY STRUCTURE:

  • Diagonal ribs at the front of the wing help to evenly distribute load via the leading edge into the sail
  • The all new profile section works in harmony with a new outline and the Bow Bar to deliver more progressive power control, inspiring confidence
  • This also makes the wing feel more forgiving as it has a lower stalling speed when pointing higher into the wind, allowing you to cruise upwind without worrying too much about your technique

  BRIDLE DESIGN

  CENTRE FRONT LINE RISER:
Bundling your frontlines via the centre riser — which excludes the wingtip lines — drastically reduces hand forces and makes reaching the canopy quicker and easier

  NEW BRIDLE LINE MATERIAL:
Developed specifically for parawing use, the new front lines feature a special coating for effortless, smooth and rash-free handling

  REFINED LINE DIAMETER AND STIFFNESS:
Helping to ensure fast, tangle-free packdowns — every time

V-SHRINK TABS ON THE TRAILING EDGE:
Precisely positioned to allow for a reduced number of brake lines, while also distributing balanced tension along the entire trailing edge. Contributing to a less complex bridle layout makes pack down and redeployment easier, while the more grunty power produced by the rounded parachute shape captures a good blast of wind to bring you up on foil

• FEATURES

  Factory Ownership Advantage
Ozone uniquely owns its own factory where all kites, wings, boards, hydrofoils, paragliders, speed wings and accessories are made. Guaranteeing hand checked quality control and the finest materials at every step, there are also excellent working conditions for all 1000 employees.

  Designed with OZ-CAD
The future is now. All Ozone kite and wings are designed with our own highly advanced custom built CAD software that we control and modify with each new product design. Allowing for specifically tailored technical developments, our designers can maximise performance while also minimising waste.

  Single-Layer Laser Cut
Ozone kites and wings are crafted with exceptional precision using advanced laser technology to cut each panel individually in a single layer. This meticulous approach ensures consistent accuracy across all products, from entry level to high performance models. Our commitment to high standards in production reflects our dedication to delivering reliable, high-quality equipment for riders at every level.

  High Performance Ultra Light Materials
Durable, airtight and lightweight double rip-stop Nylon material for the upper and lower surfaces. The material has a unique formulated coating to help shed water, improving flying characteristics and water re-launch.

  Single Surface Design
The single surface generates ample lift with low airspeed, resulting in easy and forgiving handling, while still providing the power to get up on foil. Additionally this offers unique low-end flying characteristics with instant and efficient de-power. With only one skin, weight and pack volume minimal, ideal for quick and easy packing or stashing.

  Leading Edge Profile Reinforcements
The Leading Edge is reinforced with flexible lightweight plastic battens to maintain the shape of the profile during angle of attack changes and turbulent airflow. This drastically improves stability and performance as the foil remains true to the designed shape.

  Transverse Sail Shaping
The Leading Edge features Transverse Sail Shaping creating a cleaner surface on the most important area of the aerofoil. The result is less turbulent airflow and longer skin adhesion, which positively affects the lift to drag ratio increasing overall performance.

  Diagonal Ribs
Optimised diagonal ribs distribute load from the bridles evenly and effectively. This increases the wings structural balance, while allowing the top surface to maintain the designed profile without being distorted from indirect tension or loads.

  Trailing Edge V-shrink Tabs
Precisely positioned to allow for a reduced number of brake lines, while also distributing balanced tension along the entire trailing edge. Contributing to a less complex bridle layout makes pack down and redeployment easier, while the more grunty power produced by the rounded parachute shape captures a good blast of wind to bring you up on foil.

  Optimised Bridle Lines
High-quality, colour-coded bridle lines with optimised thickness and unique coatings ensure tangle free handling, making launching and packing easy. Featuring spliced loop-to-loop connections, these bridles glide smoothly through your hands and eliminate snagging.

  Centre Front Bridle Line Riser
Bundling your frontlines via the centre riser — which excludes the wingtip lines — drastically reduces hand forces and makes reaching the canopy quicker and easier.

  Short Bridle Line Layout
A short distance between the control bar to the canopy makes packing and redeployment quick, easy and instantaneous.

  Tuned Bridle Geometry
We work extensively during our R&D process to develop the size range to feel in tune with each other. Every kite has a unique bridle layout, individually tested and fine-tuned to maximize the feeling and performance.

  Harness Line Connection
A harness line can be attached to the control bar – hook in for less arm fatigue and longer sessions.
